Felix Abadi and Adam Dumas have ended up becoming one of the most memorable feuds of season twelve, and for good reason. These two have been at it for so long, and the tension has reached a boiling point in their main event clash on night one of Sunrise on the Reaping. It was a war in every sense of the word, but in the end, Felix would be able to survive the onslaught brought on by his most fierce rival, showing he has no qualms with going to distance to beat him. These two will clash one final time next week at Endgame in a Lights Out Steel Cage to fully close out their chapter, but for now, Felix can stand tall (as much as he can anyway) knowing he had a performance of a lifetime.
Although Daisuke Ugaki came up short against Arukado in his contest for The Heritage Championship, however, he defined a brand new standard with The Heritage Championship, dominating nearly every single opponent that stood across from him when it came to that belt, defeating them all in impressive fashion. His brutality, his wit, and his honor has earned him a spot as a runner-up for his impressive performance.
Achaia Ariti has steadily been building herself as a force within the Fury women’s division, and for good reason. The powerhouse from Greece has been able to make her presence known, and that was highlighted after she brutalized the legendary Great Urai in their match. When you not only win against a tenured talent but also incapacitate them to the point where the status of their career is in jeopardy, it’s hard for people not to take notice—and for those same people to be wary of the dangerous potential you possess. Achaia has made a lasting impact to end her season twelve on a strong note, and she will certainly be one to watch as UNW advances closer to season thirteen.
While not many could have foretold the rising of Prynce O’Riordan, it happened and it happened in an explosive way. His feud against Chavito Chavez was definitely one for the ages and one that will be remembered for a long time coming. It was a brutal display of emotions and pent up anger between the two competitors. However, in the end, Prynce O’Riordan managed to get one up on him and cement himself as a prominent figure that the whole world should be paying attention to heading into this next season. He earns his spot through general character work and ability to prove himself as a future major player in these coming months, he only falls short a few steps behind Achaia Ariti.
The match was intense, bloody, brutal, and everything else in between. It was visceral and made a lasting impression on everyone who saw it live. The bad blood shared by both men was further exemplified in this bout, with this easily becoming the most physical match they have had yet. They have the potential to top themselves at Endgame, but the first night of SOTR ends with a violent masterpiece as their hatred has only elevated this encounter.
Daisuke Ugaki and Adachi Arukado was a match that you could show anyone, inside the community or out of it, and they’d enjoy it. It was an amazing match that packed nearly everything there is to have in a match. In ring psychology, stakes, and it had a story behind it. To not like this match is to insult your own literacy. In my opinion, this is Daisuke Ugaki’s best match as The Heritage Champion and it worked in making me want to see more of Adachi Arukado. This match was definitely compelling, but just couldn’t amount to the same as Felix vs Adam. It earns its spot through sheer entertainment and physical brutality, fantastic job!
The same sentiments we wrote for their match can be applied here. Felix and Adam’s rivalry just can never get old, and with a fourth match looming, people are on the edge of their seats ready to see how all of this is going to end. It’s going to be a bloody spectacle, literally, and tonight, both men showed they still have some gas left in their tank to see who will truly be able to beat the other once and for all.
What isn’t there to like about this feud? It’s been going on for so long and has gone through different character arcs between both men. I love the way this feud never gets boring and I love the way the stakes are always different every time they face off. Not to mention, both of these writers did an incredible job at portraying their characters and making this feud stay afloat, very good job. It’s hard to make a feud that has lasted this long stay entertaining, which is something both the feud of the week and its runner up have done. However, it just barely slips beneath Felix vs Adam. Either way, good job!
It goes without saying that Nathan Parker is an incredible talent with incredible potential. He started his first couple of months in UNW slowly, but he quickly pumped up the speed and shot himself up into stardom! After losing the North American Championship, he’s been fixated on achieving new glory, and his new association with Cheryl Mason may just be the upperhand he needs. With a win over Joseph Quinn and his new association, I wouldn’t be surprised if he were in Unlimited Championship talks.
Draco seems to have made a career resurgence since returning, showing the world why he truly does belong in UNW. This week, even with a handicapped injury, Draco made it work and pushed through the pain to fight SERAPHIM. He used Jaelyn’s own weight against him in just a moment’s time of thinking, securing a win for himself and for his team. Draco seems to have a bright future for Unlimited Nonstop Wrestling, the sky's the limit for him.
Danny Cage has been on a resurgence tour these last couple of months. Ever since he was moved over to Takeover, he’s begun pushing himself harder and harder, making sure the world remembers who he is and what he is capable of. This week, Danny Cage proved once again why he can still hand. He knocks off a former UNW World Champion to stand out on top, good on him. I believe this is the calm before the storm for Danny Cage, next season, he is sure to cause an uplift in himself.
Things may have gotten messy for the Blackwater Organization, but at least Adachi Arukado is the one who was able to leave Sunrise on the Reaping with something to end his season twelve, and that is the UNW Heritage Championship. He won it after a hard-hitting affair with Daisuke Ugaki, and for someone who has slowly but surely built up his presence on Takeover, it was only going to be a matter of time before singles gold came to him. Being able to hold more than one title in a season despite only being signed for five months is nothing to sneeze at either. While SOTR saw things go wrong for that team, Adachi has been able to stand tall, and it’ll be interesting to see how he approaches the Heritage division now that he has assumed the lead as well as turn around the group with its other members.
Nova Cillian absolutely deserves an honorable mention, ESPECIALLY after her dominant performance against Cynthia Valice. For a while now, Nova has been racking up star performance after star performance and it seems like she’s only beginning! As The NEW High Speed Champion, it’s only expected that her meteoric rise lands her amongst the stars of Unlimited Nonstop Wrestling.
They have become liked by the fans for good reason, and in a feel-good moment, Eiji Kazuma, Victoria Hatsume, and Makoto Tsukihiro were able to become the NEW UNW Trifecta Champions! Makoto debuted a couple of months ago and has already won her first title alongside her partner, Eiji, who has been able to turn around his perception. Metamorphosing from the intimidating, mist-spitting competitor who only cared to hurt others to a man dedicated to working hard and improving himself, he’s become a compelling budding star that many root for. As for Victoria, her history is well known, and for a woman who was dedicated to becoming more serious with her return, this has undoubtedly got to be a sweet victory for her to savor. It’s hard not to root for these three, and we at UNW cannot wait to see how they will help to further elevate the budding Trifecta division together!
Logan Irons got the last laugh over Fletcher LaSelle and Richard Dixon IV by picking up an impressive win in the triple-threat clash. Logan always had potential, but he just needed that one win to bring eyes to him, and it’s safe to say he got it with this one. Logan should be proud, as many people walked away from the match impressed with his work. If he can string along consistent wins in the new season, he’ll have the chance to become one of the breakout stars of UNW for season thirteen. But for now, he can enjoy the fact he got to end his season with a win and has laid down the building blocks for what’s to come!
It had been a bitter and traumatic road for the newly christened UNW Hall of Famer, but in the end, Kelin was able to put to bed his two-year journey with Damien Kutcher by defeating him on the biggest stage. With all of the hurt and anguish behind him, Kelin can enjoy his legacy being solidified—and who knows? Perhaps season thirteen will see Kelin return to form fully with championship gold once more coming to him! Either way, the GOAT can relax his shoulders knowing he was able to put down his adversary and look ahead to what’s to come in the near future.
