Time must be a flat circle because if you told me Damon Lazarus was world champion I'd of expected us to be in 2022. Jokes aside, Damon Lazarus has once again reinvented himself and perfectly adapted to the ever-changing landscape of UNW and secured his 7th World Championship after defeating Alex Myers at Broken Promises. Few can say they've had the staying power of Damon and even fewer can say they've been as dominant in each era of UNW like Damon has.
The meteoric rise of Elliot Cage continues on after Elliot finally managed to defeat Drake Armstrong at Winter Wars. Fighting through injury and The Tyrant's underhanded tactics, Elliot Cage won the inaugural Fury Grand Prix and guaranteed himself a World Heavyweight Championship match in the near future. Elliot Cage has well and truly stepped out of his brother's and former boss' shadow and can stand on his own as a true superstar.
Forced to glaze Damon Lazarus twice in one week 💔 A strong contender for Match of the Year, this Unlimited World Championship matchup was an incredible showing from both champion and challenger. Damon Lazarus remained one step ahead of Meyers, faking a knee injury and playing on Alex Myers' emotions to take control. Despite that, the champion managed to claw back and had the match won had it not been for the untimely appearance of former Unlimited World Champion Ruler. The distraction proved pivotal, allowing Damon to defeat Alex Myers via back-to-back 'In Absentia' punt kicks. The Unlimited World Championship reign of Alex Myers came to a swift end, not even breaking a month before being defeated. With the advent of Damon Lazarus' Unlimited World Championship reign, uncertainty has enveloped Takeover once again.

Avenging his loss at Battle Fever, Elliot Cage may finally put his rivalry with Drake behind him and press on towards world title contention and immediately boost to the front of the line of challengers for Milli Banks' World Heavyweight Championship. With another striking loss, Drake Armstrong must now find a new way to get back his World Heavyweight Championship that he has spent almost all of 2024 chasing.
UNW World Champion Anakin Aleksander closed out Stampede this week after a thrilling defense against Jordan Perkins and Hanako Nanami. Anakin has thus far made good on his promise to bring prestige back to the UNW World Championship and looks to the next PLE for his next challenger. A red-hot Christian Miyazaki would answer the call and step up to Anakin to challenge him. This is perhaps the best we've seen of CMZ after finally besting Tyler Jaeger in a lights-out Two Out of Three Falls match at The World is Yours. The two would go back and forth before Anakin Aleksander formally accepted the challenge, putting the UNW World Championship on the line, placing these two stars on a collision
course over one of the top prizes in UNW.
Max Cali would finally be crowned in Moscow after pinning European Champion Kirk Matthews in the center of the ring in a riveting fatal four-way match that also involved Franklin Forster and Joseph Val.
